Halo wanted to establish a full brand and online presence for the company as it launched. The company, a 'waterless' mobile detailing company, wanted a brand and online presence that communicates clean, professional, and eco-friendly. Just like their own business, Halo's website is ready wherever their custom is, desktop, tablet, or mobile.

Halo wanted to establish a full brand and online presence for the company as it launched. The company, a 'waterless' mobile detailing company, wanted a brand that communicates clean, professional, and eco-friendly. Ties to the auto industry were desired, but not if it meant being too masculine.
After research into the detailing market and the competition, we decided to pursue a look similar to what you might see from an auto manufacturer. The icon incorporates the silver ring as a halo, the wings that not only again point to the name but are also common in the car industry, and an uppercase H that is formed by a subtle spray nozzle in the negative space. We created custom type, using rounded edges on the logo font as well as the business cards.
With a fresh, clean color palette, copy writing, and carefully selected imagery, we met the project goals and created a brand that is professional, clean, and modern. Silk laminated business cards and spot UV gloss on the printed pieces add a special touch and communicate the attention to detail that Halo practices.

The Shade Tree Clinic, a not-for-profit clinic in Nashville, TN run by Vanderbilt University, approached me to design the annual report for their past year. The goal was to communicate life and vitality through the report while still maintaining a very professional feel. This report was distributed digitally to many Vanderbilt staff and administration as well as used as a piece to give to past and potential donors to increase fundraising.

These posters were designed to promote Youth As Resource's Voice Video Contest. The posters work in tandem to show elements of the roots of video production and also resemble vintage movie posters. The first is a stylized old camera lens, and the second is a strip of film that is in the shape of a megaphone.

I worked with Health Teacher and Run With Us to develop these promotional materials for Run With Us. Run With Us aims to bring exercise and activity to kids and the classroom, so the goal was professional but fun and activity focused design. The project involved finding good stock photography that fit within the existing brand, a lot of photo manipulation, and the design and layout of the materials.

Midwest Entertrainment contacted me to develop a logo for their new company. They wanted a logo that was fun, clean, had a retro flair, and was clearly train oriented. This logo was selected as the hands down winner and includes custom type development and illustration.
